Me snorkeling in the Verde Island Passage. More snorkeling pics here.
While I wasn't shooting up a storm in the Philippines, I did get some decent shots while I was there. Here's a summary of my favorite pictures during the trip.
On the first day, we spotted this adorable bomb-sniffing dog at our hotel in Manila. Aww, cute bomb dog!
I got a little homesick in Batangas city, when I saw these unfinished houses that looked like a certain colorful set of homes in San Francisco.
This shot of national hero Lapu-Lapu in Rizal Park, with an ugly hi-rise going up in the background, really epitomizes for me the contrast of old and new in the Philippines capital city.
Although not perfect, this is my favorite panorama shot: the crater lake in Taal. Read the story of our ascent here.
There's me at Corregidor Island, framed by the last battery to fire on the island before it was taken by the Japanese.
And finally, my last sunset in the Philippines, taken from the Sofitel in Manila.
Here's the rest of my pics from my trip to the Philippines last month. Enjoy!
