I just got word that the super-cool non-profit group Games for Change is looking to hire a new "Online Community Manager" responsible for "fostering participation and providing leadership and editorial oversight for a variety of forums dedicated to digital media, learning, and social issue games." G4C is doing amazing bridge-building work between major industry
players like Microsoft, large philanthropies like MacArthur Foundation,
non-profit groups like Moveon.org, and researchers studying the digital
games space.
I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the last Games for Change conference earlier this year (thanks to my friend Glitteractica Cookie of TechSoup.) I look forward to seeing G4C is move forward on several of the exciting initiatives that were announced there.
