Hmmm, don’t know what was up with the virtual flood event that was supposed to happen this morning. I set my clock extra early to rez into the sims at the appointed times. Some of the sims were flooded, others were dry as a bone. No one appeared to be on hand filming or directing avatars around to certain spots. One of the SLURLs pointed inexplicably to a sports betting venue. Frankly, seemed a bit disorganized and half-ass to me.
Oh well. At least I got to get my new swim trunks wet. But no one was on hand to film my new asian skin.
Apologies to those who got a notice from me about this event and were as confused as I was. Ogilvy did a nice job organizing the Virtual Yaks promotional, but this one just seemed poorly executed.
if we did half as good a job as the yak shack it would be half ass-ed right? 😉
