In a dramatic move, virtual marketing firm Millions of Us ramped up the challenge for master builder Versu Richelieu this evening by filling her 3 x 8′ storefront workspace with water. In the last day of her grueling 72-hour marathon Second Life build, Versu now has to contend with the significant difficulties of working in an acquarium at the corner of 39th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan.
Millions of Us representative Rodica commented that "we decided to add the water to show the power and durability of the dual core Intel chip in Versu’s laptop as well as the intense focus and discipline of Versu." Rodica added, "Oh, and she better finish. Cause we’re cutting off the air at around 71 hours and 30 minutes."
Asked if she was worried about this latest hurdle, Versu commented, "glug glug bubble bubble can’t swim! bubble glug."
Rik, I stand by my words. We have spent many a sleepless nights trying to design the right level test for this very powerful Intel processor. I am certain we have accomplished that task.
In fact, for our next project in this series, we’ll put you in a glass box at the bottom of the sea, handcuffed. You will then be asked you to build in SL two of the seven wonders of the world. You will work on an Intel Duo laptop, using new software that allows cursor control based on eye movement. I already informed people that you’d do it and we’ll all be at the surface cheering for you!
you’re funny.
