Off to DC for International Lindy Hop Competitions

This weekend I’m headed off to DC for the first ever International Lindy Hop Championships.  Myself, along with a group of 13 other dancers, will be doing a more competition-friendly version of this award-winning performance at ILHC!  And I’m also competing in the the Advanced Jack & Jill division, for reasons that are not exactly clear to me.

I’m looking forward to dancing my heart out, seeing lots of inspired performances, hanging out with friends old and new, and just feeling the lindy luv among several hundred other dancers from all over the country.  Plus I’m going to try and catch the Jim Henson exhibit at the Smithsonian on Monday!
