This morning I saw yet another person using their Mac on the R train, from at least City Hall to 42nd street. This guy looked like he was learning how to use a design app, playing with fonts. He even had on headphones connected to his iPod nano.
It was after 9:30am, so the train was pretty empty. Still I wouldn’t advise it.
This is the second Apple user I have seen using their expensive laptops on the subway in a matter of weeks. Why have I not seen any PC users? Are Mac people braver, stupider or just more pretentious?
Maybe the MTA should add a special warning for Mac users to their subway safety page.
