I’m preparing my weekly event listings for SL blog "New World Notes" . Send me your interesting, innovative, off beat event notices for the coming week by Monday at 3pm EST. It looks an interesting week already, with the various Second Life library / Info Island opening events from October 12-14 and a Kuurian Expedition discussion with various SL journalists on October 15. Read the full post for details on what kind of events we’re looking for.
BTW, among the events I featured last week, I profiled Ziolla Magpie’s "Silent Witness" display on domestic violence. Ziolla tells me that she is thinking about finding a permanent space for her. If you have any tips or offers of sim space, drop her an IM.

Main guidelines:
- Events for the coming week must be received by Monday Noon SLT.
- Events posted in SL’s official listing board greatly preferred.
- Events with artistic, cultural, scientific, political, creative, and/or educational value preferred.
- Events sponsored or promoted by real world corporations are usually not appropriate to NWN Events. Instead, consider advertising your event on New World Notes.
- Bonus consideration given to game-related or machinima events, and for events with "I’ve never seen that in SL before" value.
