I got a teeny-tiny quote in an ABCnews.com article on the opening of the 110th Congress in Second Life by Steve Grove :
"It was kind of surreal," says Rik Panganiban, a blogger who was in the audience.
That’s 1 second out of my 15 minutes of fame, I guess.
Not a bad piece on Second Life, with mention of interesting projects being done by Save the Children and Camp Darfur. Steve asked me about the interview with Congressman George Miller after the opening of Congress.
"So how did Congressman Miller appear in Second Life?" Steve asked.
"He flew in, landing on the stage," I repled.
"He flew? Is that normal?" Steve said, surprised.
"Yeah, that’s totally normal," I explained. "What would have been strange is if Congressman Miller had come in with a motorcade, Secret Service agents flanking him as he walked to the dias. That would have been bizarre."
