I did a short interview that was broadcast today on the KPFK Pacifica Radio program "Deadline LA" hosted by Barbara Osborn and Howard Blume. The whole program is very interesting, dealing with YouTube and human rights abuses. From the description:
Is YouTube the new forum for human rights
abuses? Could be. A Guantanamo detainee was put on the "to be released"
list this week after a YouTube video generated hits and press coverage.
Witness, the human rights organization is set to launch a Human Rights
Video Hub in the next few months. Find out more when we speak with
Andrew Woods whose story on YouTube appeared on Slate a
few days ago and Rik Panganiban, a human rights/cyber observer.
You can listen to an online stream of the show or download it as an MP3. I come in at around the 17 minute mark, if you must fast forward. Hopefully I sound somewhat coherent.
