For those of you not lucky or creative enough to participate in a local Santacon, you can still get your lazy butt over to the Second Life Santacon taking place this Sunday, December 9 at 4pm SLT at Pier sim (click here to teleport). "Santacon" is an annual, irreverent gathering of, you guess it, people
dressed as Santa Claus that takes place in cities and towns all over
the United States. The Cacophony Society is sponsoring a virtual version of this raucous Saint Nick gathering complete with a cheap, ill-fitting Santa suit for your avatar and a bottle of late vintage Pine Sol to keep you buzzing.

And if you wake up in the morning to find your avatar naked, with an empty inventory, sleeping in the gutter beside an elf of indeterminate gender or species… well, I warned you.
Goddamn, I love Christmas.
