Video preview of “ICED” immigration computer game

Posted on February 18, 2008 by

I just threw together a quick video preview of the first level of the computer game "ICED," which I just posted about on this blog.  "ICED" — which stands for "I Can End Deportation" — allows the player
to step into the shoes of five immigrant teens and find out what it
takes to avoid deportation in the United States. Hit the image to see what the game looks like.

You can also check out level two – the Detention Center – by clicking this link.

ASK THE Knuckleheads at Breakthrough on why they are not showing the other side of illegal immigration???
ASK THEM WHY: they are not concerned with the human righs of the over 45,000 American Killed by Illegal Aliens since 9/11.
ASK THEM WHY: they are not concerned with the molestation of over 2700 kids by illegal immigrants per year.
ASK THEM WHY: they are not concerned with the HUMAN RIGHTS of Mexican women and children being bought and sold as sex slaves. Sex traffickers transport at least 18,000 captives into the United States each year.
ASK THEM WHY: they are not concerned about the rights of THE AMERICAN WORKER. For every illegal alien worker, there are three lower skilled Americans who do not have a job. There are 23 million working-age Americans with no college education already are without a job.

ICED was designed to show people in an interactive, first-hand experience what is happening today to thousands of people on a daily basis,” said game designer Heidi Boisvert. “We hope through awareness of these human rights violations, the public will take action and work toward righting this wrong.”
