Today 50ish folding bike riders (and friends) went on a leisurely bike tour through Manhattan over to Brooklyn and back. It was a perfect day for riding, cool and clear. We meandered from Chelsea Piers, down the Westside bikepath to Downtown Manhattan, over the Brooklyn Bridge, then back on the Manhattan Bridge, finishing at East 23rd Street on the East River.
Thanks, TimesUp for organizing this wonderful ride! Go tiny bikers!

I want a folding bike! I’ve been looking at these downtube bikes, what do you think? http://www.downtube.com/ss-index.html seems like the perfect thing for someon with a small apartment and not much storage space!
Can’t say I’ve heard much about Downtube. The main thing about a folding bike, or any bike, is finding one that feels good when you ride it. If it doesn’t feel good, you won’t ride it.
I love my Brompton and could ride it all day. YMMV.
