Global Kids launched four months ago the RezEd.org community site, a space for educators using virtual worlds to connect with each other, discuss practical concerns about teaching and learning in VWs, and access critical info and news in this area. Since then, the RezEd membership has grown dramatically and we are looking for a
logo that captures the eclectic community at RezEd. So we are putting it back out to our community to create something by announcing a logo design contest.
It’s not as easy as taking a screenshot in Second Life though: the logo has to incorporate the ideas of "learning" and "virtual worlds" while not being specific to any one virtual world. And it has to look good both in print and on the web. As an incentive, the creator of the chosen logo will receive a $300 (USD) prize and of course the glory of having your work featured on the banner of the site and other publications its used for. All logos must submitted by midnight EST, Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
Head to RezEd.org for the complete details.
The good thing about your information is that it is explicit enough for students to grasp. Thanks for your efforts in spreading academic knowledge.
