Jollibee Plush Doll in Barong Tagalog

Posted on December 2, 2008 by

Jollibee Doll in Barong TagalogIf you go to your local Jollibee fast food franchise now, you can score one of these sweet Jollibee dolls.  This one comes in a traditional filipino Barong Tagalog dress shirt, with black dress slacks, a chinese-type hat, and a cool bamboo backpack that plays a silly Jollibee jingle. (Sadly, no balisang knive was included.)

For those that don't know, Jollibee is the number one fast food chain in the Philippines, serving such specialities as Chickenjoy, Filipino-style spaghetti, Yumburger, and Pancit Palabok Fiesta.

In its 30th year of operation, there are around 600 Jollibee franchises around the world, with several in Northern and Southern California, one in Vegas, and supposedly one coming to the Filipino enclave in Woodside, Queens!

If you don't like the Jollibee in the Filipino outfit, also sell a USA version in an Uncle Sam outfit and a Chinese version in a red jacket.  What's cool is that underneath whatever outfit he's wearing, Jollibee has on his original Jolibee uniform.  So no risk of naked bees running around.

All of them are $9.99 with at $10 purchase.  I recommend the eight.jpgece Chickenjoy bucket. It's crispylicious!
