I found this oddly illustrated display at the New York Hall of Science in Queens during a visit here today. What do you think this drawing means?
the statement a=~a is a contradiction clearly but what does a assert? merely existence and no other quality in a simple logic without modes or other complications, so a is and a is not, logically that has two conclusion everything is extent and nothing is extent. I think the gun to the head tries to capture the human inability to deal with it.
Wow, man, far out. Everything is nothing. That blows my mind, but doesn’t make me want to blow my brains out.
