After a year at the Online Leadership Program
at Global Kids, I'm excited to announce that I have been promoted to Assistant Director of OLP! Functionally, I will still be doing a good amount of "Second Life producing," but also doing more programmatic and staff oversight. We've got an awesome bunch of geeks and educators here that are a pleasure to work with.
As a reminder, if your organization is interested in our services get in touch with us. Some of the stuff we do:
- Simulcasting of real world conferences and events into virtual worlds and to the web
- Curriculum development and professional development for educators using new media, digital games and virtual worlds
- Public speaking about virtual worlds and education (in person or in avatar)
- Advising your nonprofit, foundation or government agency on how to integrate virtual worlds into your mission
- Virtual youth summer camps
