Sponsor me at the Global Kids Dance-a-Thon: help our kids get to college!

GK danceathon

On Friday, March 6, I'm participating in Global Kids annual Scholarship Fundraiser Dance-A-Thon.  I will be squaring off against some of our high school youth in a dance off to raise money (anything for a cause!)

This Dance-a-Thon will raise much needed funds for scholarships for our Global Kids Leaders who will attend college this fall.  Many of our students are unable to afford higher education and these scholarships will help ensure that they get the assistance they need.  Whether it's because of family issues, undocumented status, or the outrageous cost for a college education, these students, who are deserving, hard working, and have modeled what it means to be a "global citizen", sometimes feel as if higher education is not accessible to them.

I'm going to dance on March 6. If you'd like to support me, you can make a secure credit card donation on my behalf at this link. If you would rather donate by check, you can send it to "Global Kids Scholarship Walk", 137 East 25th, Street, 2nd Floor, NY NY 10010.

I'd love to raise at least $1,000. Just enter my name where it says:  Sponsoring:  who from the GK community are you sponsoring?

Last year, GK gave away four $2000 tuition scholarships and three $500 book/fee awards.  We are hoping to give away more scholarships in larger amounts this year.

And yes, this is fully tax deductible. I know times are tight for many of us, but it's a great cause. So, whether it's $10, $20, $50 or $100, any amount you donate will be very much appreciated.
