FINALLY! The video of the Legion of Extraordinary Dancers presenting and performing at the TED conference earlier this year has been released. I've been eagerly anticipated the LXD webseries, and this looks like the first major public appearance by them online in 2010. So, super exciting to see this!

The ensemble piece by LXD is ridiculous, of course. Lots of things to notice about the piece: (1) Urban dance done to classical music!?! So sick. (2) The female dancers are all background, not foreground. (3) The mixing of genres is so powerful: popping + modern, animation + krumping, b-boying + contempo, etc.
Yes this is phenomenal, but I have to say I'm kind of frustrated with the camera work. Just stay full frame on the dancers, camera dude!
