I'm taking a potent and costly cocktail of medications for my asthma this Spring, due to the unusually high pollen counts.
I've never spent this much to breathe. But it's still better than the alternative.

What’s there besides the Advair? I have been putting off going to a doctor — I’m just toughing it through — even if it means waking up in the middle of the night to cough / wheeze / gasp because all my airways have closed up. Because I’m dirtcheap about doctors & meds. Can you share what you ended up being in for? (So I can decide if I want to pay the visit to the doc’s?)
Make sure the singulair is actually helping you. I used to be on it and it didn’t do anything for me (Intal was better). Turns out there is a large percentage of people that singular really does absolutely nothing for.

Singulair, Proventil, Prednisone and Albuterol. I know, it’s catchy.
I hear ya. I’m on the trifecta of Nasacort, Advair, and Allegra this season, plus 1-2x daily neti pot, that’s $80 a month I don’t normally spend!
