“Dimension 11”: Creating Machinima on the Edge of Reality

Posted on October 4, 2010 by

Kerria & Paul on Machinima Panel

I touched base with my friends Paul and Kerria about their new venture called "Dimension 11." As we previously reported, Ill Clan Studios (where I briefly worked), last month morphed into two entities: Pixel Valley Studios and Dimension 11.  Here's what Kerria and Paul say about their new biz:

After creating award-winning animation for film, TV and the net, working with such clients as CBS, Showtime, Paramount, MTV, Edelman, Linden Lab and IBM, Kerria Seabrooke and Paul Jannicola have created a new entity called Dimension11 – creating on the edge of reality.

Partnering with long time collaborator Damien Fate, with Dimension 11 we have already exapnded our horizons to include machinima, augmented reality, marketing consulting and more.  Paul has also taken a position with an amazing marketing company called Circus (http://www.circ.us)working with former ESC'er and ILL Clanner Pat O'Shaughnessey. It was founded by former ESC colleague and visionary John Swords and media thought leader, Adam Broitman.

Paul and Kerria produced the machinima footage for two episodes of CSI:NY – "Down the Rabbit Hole" and "DOA for a Day." They also wrote the mysteries for the in-world Virtual Crime Fighting Experience for Anthony E Zuiker.  This past year, Paul and Kerria partnered with Linden Lab to design and produce Second Life's New User Experience for the Virtual World.  In addition, their backgrounds include co-creating the award-winning machinima series Tra5hTa1k, creating the multi award-winning animated short film Tiny Nation which was accepted into the 33rd Cleveland International Film Festival and writing/directing/producing The Grid Review, Winner Best Series in the Machinima Film Festival Europe.

Kerria and Paul are amazing digital creators and great people to work with. Look for their website soon at http://www.dimension11.co.  Wishing them all the best.
