On January 4, 2010, Yehoodi entered a new chapter in our history with a whole new website, built from the ground up. Our goal was to make sure that our site continued to serve the lindy hop community through providing necessary news and information , helping people find dance events anywhere in the world , point people to relevant swing resources and businesses , and host interesting conversations about anything under the sun.
Yehoodi 3.1 greatly enhances the foundation we created in January by adding a bunch of both front end and back end enhancements that we think you'll dig:
- A fresher, easier-to-read color scheme and layout created by the very talented Poke Alex
- Embeddable media for sharing videos, music clips and photos with all of your friends
- Share Yehoodi with your social networks with Facebook and Twitter buttons everywhere
- Enhanced navigation, layouts, and tool bars, plus an "easter egg"!
The result of months of discussions, drafting, wire-framing, mock-ups, more discussions, coding, bug fixing, cursing, and long nights — my buddies Spuds, Alex and I are super excited to get this out the door. I feel privileged to work with such a cool and talented web development team.
