Bally’s Swing Dance Contest POSTPONED till January 29

Due to the impending inclement weather, the organizers of the Bally's Swing Dance Contest in Atlantic City have decided to postpone the event until Saturday January 29. All the other awesomeness is the same though!

• Two amazing big bands: Michael Arenella's Dreamland Orchestra and the Boilermakers
• Two awesome tests of lindy hop abilities: a stamina division and a "skills" division
• $5,000 in prize money and a weekend stay at Bally's on the line!
• Six straight hours of music for dancing from 6pm to midnight

The organizers are also working on free shuttles there and back from New York City to make it that much easier to participate and attend. Head to the event listing for all the details.

Sorry to all of you that made arrangements to participate this Thursday. But we think that moving it to a Saturday means that it will be an even bigger and better event.
