I'm happy to share the news that the lovely and talented dancer Nina Galicheva and I are gracing the front of the promotional posters for the 2011 season of Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center. The photo is from when Nina and I competed in last year's "Ambassador's Prize" dance contest at Lincoln Center.
As a reminder, Midsummer Night Swing is Lincoln Center's summer series of outdoor dance concerts that take place on their lovely Damrosch Plaza. This year the season is from June 27 to July 16. Despite the name, Midsummer Night Swing features a wide variety of musical styles, from salsa to disco to soul, but with a strong emphasis on swing music and swing dancing. Definitely check it out, if you can!
