We just finished episode #3 of "SwingNation", the internet's only live swing dance talk show. My co-hosts Spuds, Zuckerpunch and I had a great time putting on this episode last night. We hope our audience enjoys our banter, news, interviews and video clips that we show.
In this show, we feature a conversation with Jerry Almonte, one of the smartest dudes in the lindy scene that we know. Jerry talks about the scoring system used at the International Lindy Hop Championships, which was confusing to us all until he broke it down.
We also report on the plans to celebrate Chazz Young's 80th birthday in November in NYC. Chazz is a great swing and tap dancer as well as the son of Frankie Manning. Wish I could go to this party!
And of course, we feature lots of awesome videos, including:
- Killer Diller
- Frankie and Frida dancing (2006)
- ILHC Invitational Jack and Jill
- "Greased Lightning"
- Cute kids dancing
- Chinatown Strut
- Learning the Lindy Hop Basic
Thanks for watching!
