So this “Life Pro Tip” thread on Reddit has been rattling around my head for the past couple of days. Reading through the thread has moved me to tears a few times.
I have definitely been guilty of being that person who asked someone who is grieving or suffering “How can I help?” without offering any concrete ways I was willing to help. And hearing nothing in return… I did nothing.
My resolution for 2021 is to be more pro-active and just actually do something, instead of waiting for somebody to tell me what to do. Because often the suffering person is not in a position to even know.
