On August 15, I had the pleasure of attending the annual skate formal at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. As a museum nerd, getting to roller skate inside of an entire museum has long been on my bucket list! Particularly with dope music provided by DJ Tsu Ali!
What made it extra special was getting to go with my lovely partner Satise. Satise is always lovely, but I have never seen her so RADIANT in the gown that she purchased recently at a local thrift store.
Of course she wasn’t the only one turned out. I loved seeing so many skaters from all over the Bay Area in their finest duds.
