More cool submissions are coming in for the Frankie Week "Global Shim Sham" video project! Those clever cats in Chicago organized at their Tuesday night dance last night a Shim Sham for Frankie Week. Not content to merely video record the whole thing, they also broadcast it live on the web! Here's what Nuprin writes:
We’re showing the world how we do Frankie Manning’s Shim Sham CHICAGO STYLE! The long-time joke/fact is that Chicago dancers can drink and dance..at the same time. Sooo…. grab a drink from Scott at the bar (it doesn’t have to be alcoholic) and join us on the dance floor when we do The Shim Sham with DRINK IN HAND. And all of this dear friends, will be LIVE on the INTERWEB for the world to see. And it will be glorious!
