For Halloween this year, I decided to bring back my TRON costume, that I first debuted way back in 2020, and then improved in 2022. This time, I wanted to wear it for the San Francisco Friday Night Skate, which involved adding a new safety feature — a helmet!
I also added a new LED light to the front of the top, which helps sell the whole picture. Otherwise the costume was pretty much the same.
My friend Justin, who is a professional film director and editor, offered to shoot some pics of me near 6th Avenue rink. There is this cool light installation that was a perfect backdrop! Justin did an amazing job shooting me, including stitching in this starry background that makes this look so cinematic!

More pics by Justin.

Justin also took a couple of moody short videos of me.
The timing of the costume also coincides with Disney’s latest effort to keep the franchise alive — “TRON ARES.” Sadly, it did terrible at the box office and honestly is just okay as a film. But the visuals are very cool!

Here’s some pics of me with friends in costume.

Really happy with how the costume has evolved and continued to be so fun to wear. All I need is light cycle!
