It’s exactly two years since I started quad skating! It’s been an incredible journey so far, and it feels like I’ve barely scratched the surface of what is possible with skating. I’m so grateful for everything that skating has brought to my life — friendships, community, and so many beautiful moments.

Rollerskating is an outlier, since I just started. But I feel like the depth of connections I’ve made in a short amount of time is pretty remarkable.
With the temporary closure of the Skatin Place in Golden Gate Park, my skate peeps and I have had to get creative to find new places to skate. One pleasant discovery is Joe DiMaggio Park in North Beach! Such a dope spot with a large, smooth surface. Here’s some vids from our visit their yesterday.
